Description
This delicious Shiraz variety is dominated by red and dark fruits - it has a generous taste with fine spices and also flavor characteristics of e.g. dried fruit. The wine has a long, persistent finish in good balance where, among other things, finds notes of dark herbs and sweet licorice. The wine goes perfectly with grilled meat, baked or grilled vegetables, potato gratin or hard cheeses. The nice balance also means that it can easily be enjoyed alone. The grapes are harvested in the area between the Sierra Nevada and the Pacific Ocean – the location of these vineyards provides optimal growing conditions and ensures well-developed and ripe grapes very rich in aromas. After production, the wine has aged for a minimum of 5 months in oak casks to add additional structure, spice and balance.
